Job Vacancy - Legal Secretary Tuesday 2nd of January 2018

We are looking for a Legal Secretary to work as part of a secretarial team for the firm’s Wills, Trust and Probate department.

Based in Aykley Heads, Durham City, we are a full service law firm. We have dedicated teams for dispute resolution, employment, family, property, corporate & commercial and private client services.

We recently won Law Firm of the Year (6+ Partners) at the 2017 Northern Law Awards where we also took home the award for Dispute Resolution Team of the Year.

We are a very forward thinking firm and have grown significantly over the past 10 years, resulting in us doubling the size of our office in 2017. With a major refurbishment of our premises underway we are creating a modern and innovative environment for both our staff and clients, it is a very exciting time to think about joining us. 

Role

The successful candidate will commence their role with the firm as soon as possible.

The role requires a candidate with secretarial experience, ideally with a legal services background.  The position is a full-time, permanent position.  The department already has a secretarial team in place and the successful candidate will join that team to provide typing, administrative and organisational support to the fee earners in the department across all elements of Wills, Trust and Probate work.

  • have exceptional attention to detail; and
  • have strong communication skills.
