AMH Workspace delivers 500k fit-out project for Swinburne Maddisons Durham office Wednesday 2nd of May 2018

AMH Workspace delivers 500k fit-out project for Swinburne Maddisons Durham office

Fit-out specialist AMH Workspace has recently completed a £500,000 office refurbishment of our headquarters at Aykley Heads Business Centre in Durham.

The five-month project has seen the complete transformation of our 10,000sqft office at Aykley Heads Business Park, which we acquired in 2017.

AMH worked closely with our Partners to deliver a bespoke, modern working environment, which includes a new workspace café, high end meeting rooms and client lounge area, as well as new office furniture solutions and upgraded IT functionality.

Heather Baxter, Business Development Manager at AMH said: “Corporate occupiers are placing greater emphasis on ensuring that their office space is aligned with their brand and company values, as well as the comfort and well-being of employees. This is very much reflected in the Swinburne Maddison project, with their new offices complementing their growth strategy and the high-quality service they deliver to clients.”

Washington-based AMH Workspace carried out the refurbishment in a live working environment, with a phased programme of works enabling us to remain fully operational throughout.

The significant investment has already had a positive impact across the whole firm.

David Low, Partner at Swinburne Maddison said: “AMH Workspace have helped us to transform our working environment and we have already seen the effect on staff productivity and received lots of fantastic client feedback.

“We now have a vibrant open plan office space, staff and client lounge area, serviced meeting rooms and superb new reception area. AMH invested a lot of time and energy in understanding our goals and providing us with fantastic advice and creative solutions. Our new offices provide us with an excellent platform to help us retain and recruit high quality staff to grow the business.”
