Welcome

Welcome to the new, improved Swinburne Maddison website.  We hope that you find the information helpful and that it provides everything you need to know about the firm and our services.

We pride ourselves on our modern approach to client service, whilst still retaining the traditional values you would expect from such a long-standing firm.  Our firm has developed over the years, which enables us to offer expert advice on legal matters for  corporate and individual clients.

As a well-established County Durham firm, we have developed many links with our local community.  We believe local businesses should contribute where possible to supporting and developing the community.  Several of our Partners and staff are keen sports men and women and this is reflected in our sponsorship of the annual Durham Regatta and the local Sunday Football League.  We have also recently committed to sponsoring the inaugural Durham City Amateur Swimming Club Medley Challenge 2009.

Our links with the community extend to supporting local and national charities.  Some of our staff are heavily involved with charities in their spare time, and as a firm we raise funds for those charities through various events and collections throughout the year.

We believe our strong links with County Durham help us to understand the issues affecting our local clients, and are of a huge benefit when acting for our nation-wide based clients.
