As the festive madness slowly builds around us, our female Partners and Fee Earners offered a safe haven to some of our cherished female clients and professional contacts when they hosted a Christmas wreath making workshop at the beautiful Broom House Farm in Witton Gilbert.
At the event, which took place on the evening of Thursday 3rd December, our eager group of ladies were guided through the (sometimes quite painful!) process of cutting and shaping branches of holly and fir into beautiful wreaths, which were adorned with a variety of trimmings and festive decorations, to take pride of place on front doors across the north east! Under the expert tuition of workshop leader, Ruth Moreland, even our most novice craftspeople were able to produce something they were genuinely proud of.
A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable night was had by all, helped in no small part by the mulled wine and homemade mince pies and sausage rolls which were served by our host, Jane Gray, throughout the evening.
And if the evening were not festive enough already, our guests were treated to carol-singing from a local choir who happened to be performing at the farm that night, along with intermittent braying from the resident donkey!
Christmas spirit guaranteed!
