HR Coordinator Vacancy

We are delighted to advertise a new role with our firm for a part-time HR Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis. We anticipate the role being 3 days per week however we consider full-time applicants. 

 

The role

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Operations by taking responsibility for some specific tasks and administration of HR work and also by assisting with specific projects.

Examples of the responsibilities for the role include:

  • Providing guidance to staff on aspects of employment policies/procedures and employment requirements
  • Assisting with recruitment projects, including preparing job adverts, short-listing candidates, arranging interviews and pre-employment on-boarding processes
  • Coordinating and assisting with the induction process 
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Monitoring training plans
  • Organising the appraisal process and assisting with formal appraisals

 

Required experience, skills and attributes 

The applicant must have demonstrable recent experience of working in an HR team. The main attributes we look for, but will not be limited to, are:

  • Being proactive in terms of managing your workload and continual development of your skills
  • Possessing excellent organisation skills
  • Showing exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Some experience of payroll and pension administration will be advantageous
  • There is no requirement for CIPD qualification, but there is the possibility for support with obtaining relevant qualifications in due course
