Legal Cashier Vacancy

We are delighted to advertise a new full time or part time opportunity with our firm for a Legal Accounts Cashier to join our team on a permanent basis.  The role is new, created to support the continued growth of the firm. 


The role

You will report directly to the Head of Accounts and Head of Finance, working within the firm’s accounts team.  You will help to ensure the effective operation of the accounts team function, and ensure compliance at all times with the Solicitors Accounts Rules. 


Required experience, skills and attributes

The Applicant must have experience of working within a legal accounts team.  The main attributes we look for, but will not be limited to, are:

  • Possessing excellent organisation skills;
  • Showing exceptional attention to detail;
  • Accurate production of reports;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules; and
  • Exceptional team working abilities.



Examples of the responsibilities for the role include:

  • Processing incoming and outgoing payments;
  • Processing invoicing to clients;
  • Monitoring all banking;
  • Processing disbursements;
  • Residual balance investigation; and
  • Answering general queries from staff and clients.
