Secretary, Commercial Property Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full-time Secretary to join our busy and growing Commercial Property team on a permanent basis.


The role

You will provide direct support to the Head of the Commercial Property Department and will also assist other lawyers within the team.  The work will include, but will not be limited to, the responsibilities given below:

  • preparing documents and correspondence;
  • administering filing, including the opening and closing of files;
  • making appointments and maintaining an up to date diary;
  • liaising with professional third parties and contacts;
  • communication with clients by telephone and email.


Required experience, skills and attributes 

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a secretary within a property team.  The candidate will also display the following attributes:

  • being pro-active in terms of managing your workload and continual development of your own professional skills;
  • high levels of accuracy when producing written documents;
  • exceptional attention to detail;
  • exceptional organisational skills;
  • a high degree of self-management and initiative;
  • strong communication skills and an ability to work and build relationships with colleagues.
