Swinburne Maddison LLP is pleased to announce details of a new, exciting collaboration with Esh Group.
Working alongside the dynamic construction company, Swinburne Maddison will deliver an Esh Group managed, Building My Skills scheme to students at participating schools and colleges throughout the North East of England. Swinburne Maddison’s specialist solicitors will visit the learning centres where they will run a programme of lectures and workshops aimed at helping young people to prepare to confidently present their skills to prospective employers.
Other organisations involved in the scheme include Barclays Bank plc, Newcastle United and Sunderland AFC Foundations, Northumbrian Water plc and global project management consultancy ARUP.
Brian Manning, CEO of Esh Group, commented, “Esh Group is pleased to further strengthen our relationship with our legal advisors, Swinburne Maddison LLP. Both organisations appreciate the importance of ‘giving something back’ to the local community and I’m delighted that we will be working together.”
Managing Partner of Swinburne Maddison, John Davison, added “The firm values highly its strong relationship with Esh Group and we were very happy when the opportunity arose to offer our assistance with delivering the Building My Skills scheme. Having recently completed a series of mock interviews for scholars who have been through a similar scheme managed by Esh Group, we have first-hand experience of the benefits that young people gain from specialist input. We are delighted to be able to extend our involvement in this way”.
