Anna joined Swinburne Maddison LLP as a Solicitor in January 2014, was promoted to Managing Associate in 2018 and appointed Head of the Private Client team soon after.  She became a Partner in December 2021.

Originally from Durham, Anna moved to the South West and qualified in 2008 whilst working in a large legal practice where she acted on a wide range of cases including representation of high profile trust clients and agricultural clients. On returning to the North East with her family, Anna joined a local firm before joining Swinburne Maddision LLP.

Working in the firm’s Private Client team, Anna’s specialist areas include estate planning, the drafting, preparation and administration of trusts and providing inheritance tax advice. She also advises in relation to wills and the administration of estates.
