Ellie joined Swinburne Maddison LLP in 2017 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019. She was promoted to the position of Associate Solicitor in May 2022.
Prior to joining the firm Ellie worked as a Corporate and Commercial Legal Advisor at Carillion Advice Services. During her time at Carillion Advice Services Ellie undertook a secondment to a “Magic Circle” law firm and to one of Scotland’s leading commercial law firms.
Ellie was shortlisted in the 2019 Northern Law Awards as Trainee of the Year.
Outside of work Ellie enjoys walking her dog in the countryside, travelling to new cities and has recently taken up running to train for a half marathon!
