Kate joined Swinburne Maddison LLP in 2003 as a Trainee Solicitor working alongside former Managing Partner, John Davison.  She became a Partner in 2009 and was instrumental in sustaining and growing the firm’s conveyancing team of which she is now Head.

Described in The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2019 edition as “very professional and concise”, Kate has substantial experience dealing with all aspects of  property transactions. Having gained a solid grounding during her training, she undertook a mix of residential and commercial conveyancing work on qualification.  This insight into residential work enabled Kate to shape the team into its current form.

Kate continues to supervise and head up the Conveyancing team; however her day-to-day workload is predominately comprised of commercial property matters, acting for prominent local land owners, developers and clients in the retail and hospitality sectors.

Kate is a keen baker and has recently invested in a wood fired pizza oven which is testing her bushcraft and baking skills!
