Sophie joined the firm in January 2019 as a newly qualified solicitor, having gained previous experience working in the Corporate and Commercial team of a firm in Yorkshire.  She was promoted to the position of Associate Solicitor in May 2022.

Sophie’s role in the Corporate and Commercial team involves preparing shareholders’ agreements, bespoke articles of association and partnership agreements and reviewing commercial agreements and terms and conditions. She also works with clients in agreeing business share/asset acquisitions and disposals.

Sophie has a particular interest in data protection matters, facilitating clients in their handling and responsibility of customer data.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys travelling, walking in the Northumberland countryside and practising yoga.
