For the month of June, Swinburne Maddison LLP will be waiving all fees for writing a basic* Will or pair of mirror Wills in exchange for a donation to St Margaret’s Centre (Charity No. 1160900) of £100 for a single basic Will and £150 for basic mirror Wills.
Your Will(s) will be prepared by one of the firm’s specialist Private Client lawyer so you can take great comfort in knowing that your wishes have been properly documented and your loved ones provided for whilst at the same time supporting the vital work of a local charity.

St Margaret’s Centre – based in Durham City Centre – is an activity and training hub for adults in County Durham who need support with their mental well-being.
The main aim of the centre is to improve the health and well-being of the community of County Durham by providing a safe, therapeutic environment for people to regain their confidence, motivation and self-esteem while learning new skills and meeting new friends.

*A basic Will would include a straightforward estate where everything is being left to family, friends or charities and there are no overseas assets. For more complex matters – for example, those which require detailed tax advice, the setting up of Trusts or the creation of Lasting Powers of Attorneys – additional charges will apply. An additional ID-check charge of £10 plus VAT per person will be payable in all cases.
