Navya Joginipally is a Solicitor in Swinburne Maddison’s Dispute Resolution team, bringing a wealth of experience in housing and property litigation. She initially qualified as a lawyer in India in 2012 and later obtained her LLM from American University, Washington DC. She then went on to qualify as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2022.
Prior to joining Swinburne Maddison, Navya worked as a Solicitor at Citizens Advice Gateshead and Wills Chandler Solicitors in Basingstoke, specialising in housing law. She has represented clients in complex possession claims, housing disrepair disputes, and anti-social behaviour matters, as well as defending mortgage possession claims. Her experience also extends beyond housing law, having previously practised in other areas of law in India before relocating to the UK.
Navya is known for her professional work ethic, ability to meet tight deadlines, and her commitment to delivering clear and practical advice. She takes a fair and empathetic approach with clients, ensuring they feel supported and fully informed throughout legal proceedings. As an advocate, she is confident in representing clients in hearings and achieving the best possible outcomes.
In line with her ambition to continue developing her expertise, Navya is currently working towards her qualification as a Notary, which she expects to complete in 2026.

With over a decade of legal experience across the UK and India, Navya has built a strong reputation for providing strategic and client-focused legal solutions. While she has broad legal experience, her specialism lies in housing law, where she has successfully defended possession claims related to rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, and mortgage disputes.
In her previous role, Navya represented defendants in possession claims, regularly securing successful outcomes for her clients. Over the last five years, she has achieved a success rate of approximately 90% when representing clients in court proceedings.
At Swinburne Maddison, Navya advises a wide range of clients, including private individuals, social landlords, and corporate entities, on pre-action and litigation matters and is keen to support clients with complex legal disputes in the housing sector and beyond.
