Olivia Fisher Trainee Solicitor
Dispute Resolution
Olivia Fisher is a Trainee Solicitor at Swinburne Maddison with a split role between Contentious Probate and Family Law ahead of qualification in July 2026.
She joined the firm in 2025, bringing with her a strong academic foundation from her MLaw degree at Northumbria University, which she completed in 2023. Olivia’s legal journey began in family and private client law, where she developed a well-rounded skill set and a client-focused approach.
Before joining Swinburne Maddison, Olivia worked as a Paralegal and later as a Trainee Solicitor at her previous firm. Her experience includes drafting Wills and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs), managing estate administration, and supporting family law matters such as financial remedy consent orders and child arrangements. This early exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work has shaped her empathetic and confident approach to client care.
Olivia is known for her integrity, respect and honesty, values that guide her interactions with clients and colleagues alike. She is passionate about making legal processes more accessible and less daunting, and she is committed to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
Olivia began her legal career in 2024 as a Paralegal in a Family department at another north eat law firm, where she was quickly promoted to Trainee Solicitor. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in both Family and Private Client law, including, drafting Wills, LPAs, and estate accounts, applying for Grants of Probate and managing estate administration, assisting with financial remedy consent orders and non-molestation orders and supporting clients through sensitive family law matters.
Now at Swinburne Maddison, Olivia is expanding her expertise into Commercial Property, where she is eager to build on her existing skills and contribute to the firm’s dynamic legal team.
