Siân Thurkettle is a Trainee Solicitor at Swinburne Maddison, having commenced her training contract in May 2026. She is currently gaining experience across a range of practice areas within the firm.
Siân holds a Bachelor of Laws from Leeds Beckett University and a Master of Laws in Legal Practice from Northumbria University. Before joining Swinburne Maddison, she gained valuable legal experience as a Legal Secretary.
Siân has gained valuable experience within the Dispute Resolution team, where she supported lawyers on housing disrepair matters. Her work included assisting with the administrative processes required to ensure cases progressed efficiently. Her strong organisational skills, attention to detail and efficiency made her a valuable asset to the team. Siân thrives in a team environment, bringing a proactive and optimistic approach to her work.
Siân participates in the Building My Skills Programme in partnership with Esh Group, focusing on educating students on careers in the legal profession.
