Holly Brennan Paralegal
Commercial Property
Holly Brennan is a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team at Swinburne Maddison, having joined the firm in August 2025 after graduating with an LLB (Hons) in Law from Newcastle University. She began her legal career as a Litigation Paralegal at another North East law firm, where she gained early experience in case preparation and progression through to hearing.
In her current role, Holly primarily supports housing developers with plot sales and shared ownership leases, contributing to transactions involving new-build freehold plots and affordable housing schemes. Alongside this, she assists with residential sales and purchases, as well as re-mortgages for investors.
Holly is known for her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. She is committed to developing her legal skills and delivering high-quality support to both clients and colleagues. With a long-term ambition to qualify as a solicitor, Holly is focused on building her expertise in residential property law, with a particular interest in conveyancing and affordable housing.
Holly began her legal career as a Litigation Paralegal, gaining practical experience managing files from pre-issue through to hearing or settlement. This role helped her build a strong foundation in legal procedure, client communication, and case management.
Since joining Swinburne Maddison, Holly has transitioned into property law, supporting the Commercial Property team with a growing focus on residential development. She is gaining hands-on experience in plot sales, shared ownership leases, and re-mortgages, and is steadily building her understanding of the legal frameworks that underpin residential conveyancing and housing schemes.
