Hope Gallant Solicitor

Hope Gallant is a Solicitor in Swinburne Maddison’s Private Client team, advising individuals and families on the full breadth of estate, wealth and tax planning. After successfully qualifying as a Solicitor in August 2024 under the Solicitor Apprenticeship programme with Womble Bond Dickinson, while also achieving SQE1 (2023) and SQE2 (2024), Hope joined the team in January 2026, bringing a strong blend of academic achievement, technical capability and practical experience gained at regional and national firms.
Hope has experience advising a wide variety of clients on Wills, estate planning, lifetime trusts, trust administration and probate for both taxable and non‑taxable estates. Her work includes preparing simple and complex Wills (including discretionary and life interest trust structures), preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, advising on trust administration , preparing Inheritance Tax accounts, drafting Deeds of Variation and managing estate administrations from start to finish.
She is known for her empathetic and reassuring approach, taking time to understand each client’s circumstances and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process. Hope aims to make legal matters clearer and less overwhelming, helping clients feel more confident and informed.
