Rebecca Logue joined Swinburne Maddison in October 2024 as an Associate Solicitor in the Corporate team and was promoted to Managing Associate in May 2025. Having qualified as a solicitor in March 2020, she has developed a wealth of experience in corporate finance and transactional matters and has a strong reputation for handling complex business acquisitions, sales, and joint ventures with precision and efficiency. Rebecca primarily works with SME clients across various sectors, including hospitality and leisure, manufacturing, and construction and engineering.
She is known for her pragmatic and client-focused approach, ensuring clear, timely, and commercially sound advice. Rebecca takes pride in her ability to simplify legal complexities, fostering long-term relationships with clients through trust and transparency. Her strong communication skills and collaborative nature make her a key asset when coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across corporate, commercial property and employment matters.

Rebecca has extensive experience in corporate law, acting as a lead advisor on numerous high-value and time-sensitive transactions. She has successfully guided clients through complex deals, ensuring smooth processes from initial instruction to completion. She frequently collaborates with financial advisors and legal teams, negotiating key documentation and ensuring seamless transactions.
A career highlight includes a transaction where Rebecca was advisor on the Insider Media’s Deal of the Year (sub £10m) in 2023 on behalf of QA Weld Tech. The transaction not only assisted the growth of the purchaser, but also helped save QA Weld Tech, a North-East business with a 40-year history. It was noted by the judges that advisors only had a two-week timeframe to complete the deal. Rebecca’s ability to work under pressure and deliver exceptional results within tight timeframes has cemented her reputation as a skilled and dependable corporate lawyer.
Beyond transactional work, Rebecca is passionate about mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their legal expertise. She is also heavily involved in business development, attending and hosting networking events to strengthen professional relationships and expand the firm’s corporate client base.
Rebecca was named as a Key Lawyer in the 2026 edition of the Legal 500, demonstrating her expertise within corporate and commercial law.
