Charlotte joined Swinburne Maddison LLP as a newly qualified Solicitor in July 2018, prior to which she worked as a Paralegal and Trainee Solicitor in the commercial property and corporate departments of another regional firm.

She was promoted to the position of Associate Solicitor in May 2022 and late promoted to Managing Associate in May 2024.

In her role, Charlotte works with landlords, tenants, banks, and investors across a wide range of sectors including leisure and hospitality, retail and professional services and has a particular passion for finance work. She regularly acts for banks and borrowers on high-value secured lending transactions over a multitude of properties.

In 2024, Charlotte was shortlisted for two prestigious regional awards. Emerging Property Person of the Year at the Insider North East Property Awards and Rising Star at the Northern Law Awards.

Outside of work Charlotte loves to travel, all things Harry Potter and long walks on the beach with her beloved cocker spaniel Ronnie.
