Craig Malarkey is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team, having joined the firm in December 2021 from another North East practice where he had provided corporate legal advice for 16 years.

Craig trained at and later became Partner and Head of Department at his previous firm, specialising in corporate finance and transactional matters, in particular mergers and acquisitions and advising SME clients across a range of sectors.

Craig regularly advises clients on share and asset sales and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and management buy-outs and can provide advice on equity and debt investment as well as partnership and start up advice.  Craig also has experience of representing clients through the entire life cycle of their business, from incorporation to exit, something which he has found extremely fulfilling.

In his spare time, Craig is usually found acting as taxi driver facilitating his children’s enviable social lives and fitting in walks with his dog.
