Rebecca Tinsley Trainee Solicitor
Trainees
Rebecca Tinsley is a Trainee at Swinburne Maddison, currently gaining experience in various departments throughout the firm, including Dispute Resolution, Commercial Property and Corporate and Commercial. Having joined the firm in 2025, Rebecca bring sound academic knowledge from her MLaw degree from Northumbria University and previously gained valuable experience as an in-house paralegal for a large property and care group. This role provided her with early exposure to commercial property and employment matters, developing her understanding of both contentious and non-contentious work.
Rebecca is known for her transparent and supportive approach when working with clients. She is committed to ensuring that clients feel informed and reassured throughout their matter, with strong communication being central to how she delivers legal support. Her aim is always to make legal processes clearer and less stressful, particularly in dispute scenarios.
Rebecca is building her experience with a long-term ambition to qualify as a solicitor in April 2027.
Rebecca’s legal career began in an in-house setting where she worked across commercial property and employment law. This provided a solid foundation ahead of her training contract and gave her insight into the real-world challenges clients face.
So far, Rebecca is deepening her experience in litigation and dispute resolution at Swinburne Maddison. Day to day, she supports senior team members with legal research, document drafting, and client correspondence, as well as preparing case materials, assisting with court documentation, and contributing to the progression of litigation matters.
Rebecca’s early career highlights include securing a competitive training contract and transitioning into a dynamic private practice environment. Her dedication to client service and continued development ensures that she is a valued member of the team.
